Founder and owner, Dave Coulter, started Native Restoration Services back in 2006 with little more than a pickup truck and some chainsaws. A lifelong respect for the natural world, nurtured over years growing up on his family farm, keened Dave to the need for committed stewardship of native lands across northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.

Now, with over twenty years of experience serving the Midwest, Dave’s team has grown to include natural land managers, ecologists, and restoration technicians equally committed to laying strong roots across the region while helping to grow the country’s preeminent restoration communities.

Here at NRS, we take great pride in our work with both private and public clients who are eager to reverse native habitat loss and restore the vibrant ecology of the land we all love.
